Hi, I’m Keane – I am a Wellington, New Zealand-based cosplay photographer, a visual storyteller who captures emotions, light and a whole lot of nerdy magic with my camera. I photograph cosplay portraits, convention floor shots, and bespoke character sessions. Whether you’ve spent six months on your build or you’re rocking a last-minute cosplay, I’ll find the shot that does it justice. That’s why I created Capturing Cosplay – where geek culture and photography clash together!

Once upon a time, I was known as Capturing Heartbeats after being verified by Cosplay New Zealand. Then in 2019, I leveled up and launched Capturing Cosplay to dive deeper into cosplay and geeky adventures.
It’s been an incredible journey full of epic stories, and I can’t wait to see where it leads next. I photographed my first convention in 2016 with a bag full of gear, but I attended conventions many moons ago. (Pulp Expo and KapCon)
