2026 – Happy New Year

Looks like the wheels are back in motion right now. Sorry, couldn’t help the pun.

No real news other than the “Post your favourite Photo 2026” is going well, with 15 images and about a month to go. I just did a quick update and then realised I have hit the 10-year milestone, taking photos in the Cosplay arena since 2015. Really, I have been doing this a little longer cos I was around when -ahem- yeah, I am that old. hintIce Age tournament in Auckland.

I have started working on my convention timetable, see the “Where’s Keane“. Not quite ready for anything full on. Sad that Photofest is not happening, but I guess the wheel does go. Maybe I can set up some Minishoot days or Photography workshop – I know there’s a lot of new cosplay photogs in Welly. I am up for bespoke shooting, and all legacy images (from 2019) should be viewable/orderable on the gallery link. https://www.keanechan.com/capturingcosplay

THANK YOU to everyone who went in front of my camera and everyone behind it. Who knew, that I have made amazing friends, taken some really neat photos and met incredible crafters from all walks of life with a common interest in bringing characters to life.
