Emotion

You gotta have an emotion or state to convey for the photo. A always smiling photo is great but it is a ‘done thing’. See last week’s post on don’t smile.

Think what else the character does, how the character gotten to this state, build a story around what has just happened and what could happen after.

Having this backstop give a more context to the shoot and in the end a better result. Kinda like building you character in a rpg to play for the next 5 years.

Happy – smile, joy, gleeful

Angry- rage, blinded by anger, tears,

Sad – sorrow, despair, heartbroken
