Fourth Wall?

How do you want to be photographed ? How is the photography going to be consumed. You want to be part of a scene or making contact with the viewer?

If you make contact with the camera lense with your eyes, then you have ‘broken the fourth wall’ and you are looking directly with the view of your photo. This can be good if yiu are looking for connection with the viewer.

The opposite end is you pretend you are unaware of the camera, not an easy task, but you are acting within your own scene. This conveys more of a story element and sometime makes composite photography easier to ‘come across’ to make real.

Some food for thoughts…
